Over the last year and around the 12,000 sales I have 3 negative feedbacks. My rating is still 100% as so far only 1 in 4000 people have found it necessary to leave negative comments.
Feedback is there for a reason and as a seller I’m happy for it to be there but and it’s a big but….most of the negs have been received not because I’ve made a mistake but because other have made a mistake and are more than willing to blame someone else for it.
ok the latest one
“good packing but took 1 week to arrive.ebayer not recommended!”
This one is by far the worst in my opinion as it’s just so wrong. Item page states “Estimated within 5-7 working days”. Well it was ordered on Wednesday night and arrived on the Friday which is 7 working days so in effect it met the terms of the listing but the buyer decided to give negative. Wheres the logic in that. Does that mean I give negative every time a item arrives because i feel it should have been here sooner. I have to admit most people get theirs much sooner but we cannot guarantee this. If you pay second class you get second class mail sent. I have contacted the woman but so far no reply. To me this just seems like “I don’t care that I’ve done wrong it’s your problem” which is why I’ve written this blog “to name and shame”.
My second is one from (please look at my ebay feedback to see this one)
“they sell you broken beads when emailed they dont answer wont be using again!!”
Well in the initial email I received it was 2 out of the 13 beads were broken. I then pointed out that the listing states “There will be a few extra in each packet in case of breakages during postage.” The reply to that was “i read the item description before i purchased the beads as i always do so i dont get cought out!”. Well to be honest how can you read something and then complain that a couple were broken when it said there would be extra in the pack to cover for breakages. Obviously not read or not intelligent to understand what it meant.
My feedback to her feedback was
“2 broken.Listing states “a few added for breakages”. I typically send extra 10%.
Her reply to that was
“no postal breakages~ half of a bead sent~when found wrong sends a shirty email!!”
My shirty emile shes referring to is
“I usually put in or stick on the envelope that I add 10% to the beads sent to cover breakages.
The listing also states “There will be a few extra in each packet in case of breakages during postage”
I’m sorry you feel it necessary to give negative feedback for what was a small problem that was pointed out in the listing and envelope.”
I don’t think this is shirty at all and can only think this is written as a lie to ward people from buying off me.
I actually though her email was shirty and offensive.
“i read the item description before i purchased the beads as i always do so i dont get cought out! i received 13 and a half beads or maybe the other half the bead jumped out of the tiny pack you sent them in ??? so the “I usually put in or stick on the envelope that I add 10% to the beads sent to cover breakages.” must of jumped out too!! i can asure none were broken in the post i just no i wont use you again may be you should stick to what you say “The listing also states “There will be a few extra in each packet in case of breakages during postage” ….waste of time so no more contact thank you “
When I read this certain words come to mind and none of them nice, sorry to say.
Ok the last is
(see ebay feedback) who put “I woulnt class it as silver glitter more white with glitter in”
Again no contact before leaving negative. And no contact after even though she was still buying. Don’t mind giving feedbac but won’t put an argue
Listing goes
“This is a buy it now for Leeho glitter 3D paints.
Colours are red, purple, green, silver, gold and blue.
These can be used for decorating anything from T-shirts to cards to household objects.
They are permanent and would be a great gift for anyone creative (like student, card makers etc.).
I’ve used them to decorate items and they are simple to use, you squeeze them on, so they give a raised effect. The more you put on the thicker it will dry, giving the 3d effect.
Some images are included to give you examples.
Paint looks milky at first but that then dries clear to just show glitter.”
To me this is just people calling the same thing different names adn to be honest it was never sold as “silver glitter”, it was sold as 3d glitter paint.
This is not just fro my benefit but to every buyer out there but mainly the good ones. Look at the negatives with a pinch of salt especially if their rating is good (again mine is 100%). I sometime feel people have a bad day at the job/home and the ebay seller seems to get the brunt of the situation. All of the negatives I feel should have been neutral at worst as listings were correct.
